The Cross Country team had another great meet this past weekend. The Fountain Hills Invitational featured some great programs from around the Sate.

The girls team was led by Meghan Barney finishing 4th overall with a time of 19:41, and Olivia Pitcl finishing 8th overall with a time of 20:32. Both helped the Falcons to a 3rd place finish as a team, bringing home a trophy. The only Division IV school to crack the top 10 at the meet. The Falcons finished behind two great Division I programs. Hamilton finished 1st with 86 points, Mesa Mountain View finished 2nd with 95 points, and Veritas finished 3rd with 118 points.

Running in her first meet in two years after sitting out a year, Bridget Marvin finished in an impressive 21st place with a time of 21:04. Rounding out the last four runners, all finishing with personal bests, Isabel Skikos (22:59), Anya Kisicki (23:27), Isabelle Boyle (24:46) and Meg Van Brunt (26:48).

The boys team was led this weekend by Matthew Barney with a time of 19:35. Other with personal bests were Andrew Corke (21:53), Max Robbins (22:43), and Jacob Ladner (22:53).
