Veritas Prep Falcons Varsity easily dispatched ASU Preparatory Academy 13-1 on Tuesday.

· In the first inning, Veritas Prep Falcons got their offense started when Freshman Gage Lentz drew a walk, scoring one run. Veritas Prep put up six runs in the seventh inning. Contributing to the big inning included Payson McCallister, Ben Power, Evan Broome, Lentz, Will Peacock, and Will Jakubczyk, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

· Sophomore Kyle Irish earned the win for the Falcons. He went four innings, allowing one run on zero hits and striking out four. Senior Devin Irish threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. D. Irish recorded the last nine outs to earn the save, giving up 3 hits, striking out 3 and issuing no walks.

· The Veritas Prep Falcons Varsity racked up eight hits. Kyle Irish and McCallister all managed multiple hits. Irish led Veritas Prep Falcons Varsity with three hits in four at bats. Senior McCallister went 2 for 2 at the plate with a walk, and drove in 2 runs. Veritas Prep stole 14 bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Speedy Senior Will Peacock led the way with five pilfers. Peacock, and Juniors Evan Broome and Zach Jackson each crossed the plate safely twice in the victory.
